BELAGAVI, OCTOBER 28: Dr. PADMAJEET A NADAGOUDA PATIL DNB & VITREO RETINA SURGEON, Dr. YATESH PUJAR (60) MD PAED, Dr. SATISH BAGEWADI(59) MS ENT HOD DEPT ENT BIMS BELGAUM & SANJAY AMMANAGIMATH (50) took a pious cycle journey to Shri Kashi Vishwanath and Shri sammed shikhrji to have spiritual experience.
They started from Rabkavi, District Bagalkot on 14th Oct & reached Kashi on 21st October and further travelled to Shri Sammed Shikharji. They reached on 23rd Oct . in a span of 10 days.They are from Athani and RABKAVI They cycled approximately 180- 200 km per day.
They have cycled across 6 states. They took darshan of Shree Kashivishveshvara in Varanasi and Shree SAMMED SHIKAHARJI in Jharkhand. Shri Sammed Shikarji is a siddha kshetra for Jain.On PARASANATH HILL (27 km )Twenty Teerthankaras have attened Moksha from their. Akash Hoskoti supporting staff, LINGAYYA Hiremath (cook) & Shahajahan PAKALI (Driver of supporting vehicle) supported the riders on the entire journey.
Doctors say it was a wholesome devotional visit. It teaches us that,If we are determined we can do wonders & age is not a limiting factor. They practiced for months to undertake this orduous journey.
